Dear friends and family!
This week has been so fun! The mission is so fun, when you just laugh
your head off all day with your companion! We have also been able to
do some more sports dendo and that has been really fun, because we
both love sports so much! Today for Pday my companion and I went
bowling, and it was unlimited so we bowled for about four hours, over
10 games! Not a ton has happened since last Wednesday, but the work of
the Lord is always progressing so quickly. This transfer has gone by
so fast. A week from tomorrow we will receive transfer calls. I really
don't want anything to change.
This week on Saturday we had the opportunity to do missionary work
with our 23 year old freshly baptized concert, Noguchi kyodai! It was
so awesome! We taught a lesson in an investigators home, which was way
awesome, we did streeting, and really had a fun time doing missionary
stuff with him for several hours. He also passed the sacrament for the
first time yesterday!! That was such a happy moment. He took the
responsibility so seriously, and I know that the lord is so proud of
him, just like we are. His faith has truly grown so much since his
baptism. I have felt so much love for him, and know that God loves him
so much. We have been blessed to see so many miracles in this area,
and in this transfer. Takahashi san is getting baptized this Saturday!
We are so excited for him! He has such strong faith, and actually told
us to "trust him" after saying that he wanted to come with us to visit
another investigator, who just cancelled his baptismal date for the
next Saturday. Haha Takahashi San is so awesome. I always make funny
joking comments, and he hits me, and just laughs In the funniest way.
I will actually have the opportunity to baptize him, which is such a
blessing and honor.
I feel so blessed to be a missionary, and to be here in Toyohira,
Sapporo. I have grown so much, and I truly have felt God's presence in
my life, and in the lives of those we are teaching. I know that the
church is true. I know that through Christ we can be happy, and can
return to God. I love you all and ask that you always go to the Lord,
and rely on the Lord through All things. Christ knows you, and he
knows you perfectly. He has experienced everything that you are
experiencing, and he is waiting with open arms to help you and to give
you strength. I know that the Atonement is real. I know that the
Gospel is the way. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
