Dear family and friends,
I am out of time, but here are a couple experiences from this last week!!
2/13/2017 Monday
Today was such a great day. I am so happy to be with great people in my zone, and to have the awesome opportunity to be in Toyohira. I love this area. (Even if it has started to feel a little bit long..) Today we were able to play a good amount of jungle, and ping pong, and we ran to daiso to get face paint for the snow ball fight that we had today for zone activity!! Yagi choro and I were blue team, and Graham choro and Blackley choro were on the red team, so it was so epic! We got all decked out in our colors, bought blue and red bandanas, and I wore my uniqlo blue shorts, with my tall stans colorful blue socks, and then the new blue hoodie that I bought the other day! Haha it was so awesome and funny. Satou shimai (She is just the tiniest, but most loving and loved sister in the mission. She was so funny during the snow ball fight, because in two games she was the last one, and so she had to get hit, and it was just the best. She got hit, went down to the ground, and then Larson choro threw his snowball as she was falling, so then the snowball ended up hitting her in the back of the head, and scraping her face a little bit, it was so sad. She just let out this little, "Itai" (that means "hurt", or "it hurts")that was the saddest, (Funniest, but so sad) sound in my life. After the wonderful, hilarious snow ball fights that we had, we came back to the church, played some ping pong, and furutani shimai was actually pretty good, which was super awesome! We drank hot chocolate, and had some super good dying pie attacks, which was hilarious. It was for satou shimai and uehara shimai. It is so sad that they're dying!
After all of that today, we ran back, got ready, and then Konno kyoudai took us out to eat udon! It was so good! He is such a great member, I love him so much. After that we taught and played ping pong with daiichi san. He is such a great guy. I hope that we can really have a good lesson with him, and help him to get excited to be baptized! Great day.

Today was a really awesome day! We didn't have regular dtm because askew choro was sick, so we had a makeshift dtm where we talked about the culture of Toyohira, and the legacy that needs to be left behind. The most important culture among missionaries, and for missions, is to me a happy culture. A culture where missionaries are very happy. This is crucial. After that we went to eat sushi at toriton! It was great! I love sushi! I only spent 862¥ so not too bad! I'm good at not getting too much at sushi! Later we were able to visit the new investigator that we found last week! Kenzou! He is a really g guy, but unfortunately he is in a little far into the rebel scene, but he is a really great guy, and I have faith that if he see's the joy that the gospel brings, he will have the faith too change.
After dinner we saw a miracle! I was thinking about whether or not to ride the train down to chi San, or to just walk, and after I felt like we should walk, I stopped a younger guy (26 yrs old) down the road only about 30 feet. He was so receptive, and said that he had interest in our message! (I talked about the purpose of life, and about God and who he is, and the connection to our happiness.) He asked if we meet people again later, and then teach them in more detail about our message, we of course said yes, and he said, "great! Can we like maybe trade numbers and then set up a time to meet?" We shouted for joy inside, and I just casually said yeah for sure, no worries! Haha then he asked when we could meet, and I told him whenever. He said "kind of out of nowhere but is there any way that tomorrow would be okay?" 🙌🙌 I was stunned! We told him that was great and were able to make the plan! It was probably the best contact of my mission! Such a prepared person! He also said that he has a friend that he wants me to talk to him with! So rad! After that we went to chi san's and had a great talk with him. He loves trump, and so he turned on his speech, and it was so funny to hear some of that. Chi San is such a good guy. Then when we got back the other elders were waiting ready to attack us with snowballs!! So we had an epic snowball fight!! It was so fun! I love snow ball fights like that! They just threw like 10 snow balls at us out of nowhere! It was so intense! Such good times! Life is so good!
I love you all and am so grateful for your support and love! I know that the gospel is true! Jesus Christ died on the cross, and suffered in Calvary so that you and I could have a way to repent and make it back to Heavenly Father. I know that like Jesus Christ, if our motivation is love, then we will start to understand the gospel. I love you!!
Love,
